LCSWA
she/her/hers

Shana is a Clinical Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) whose background includes over 20 years of experience across behavioral health, wellness, and clinical therapy. A North Carolina native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from High Point University in 2002, with a concentration in psychology and social work. Her commitment to helping others began during her undergraduate studies and grew through her work in inpatient behavioral health settings, where she supported diverse populations with a range of diagnoses, clinical presentations, and levels of acuity.

After raising her five children to independence, Shana pursued her long-standing goal of becoming a clinician, earning her Master of Social Work from Walden University in 2020. She is committed to continued professional growth and ethical, client-centered care. In her work with clients, she emphasizes empathy and collaboration, partnering with each person to support health and wellness through life’s challenges. Shana tailors her therapeutic approach to each client’s needs, drawing on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and supportive psychotherapy. She helps clients build practical coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and clarify personal values. Her work supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and other concerns.
