I’m Niyera Hewlett and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I received my Master’s degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR where I studied counseling with a social justice emphasis. Since then I have worked in a variety of settings, but have found a passion in working with LGBTQ+ and gender-related issues. I offer a safe space for clients to come and heal from systemic and institutional oppressions and traumas. I offer online therapy to eliminate barriers of in-person therapy and provide the service in the comfort of the client’s home. I use a combination of modalities such as Narrative, Gestalt, and EMDR. I have been trained in EMDR to help clients process through all types of trauma. I will guide you on your journey to reclaim your story and heal from past traumas. But most importantly, I look at you as an individual and will work to earn your trust so you can move forward and live your best life.
