Michelle Lefeavers, LCMHC, LCAS, NCC

I’m Michelle Lefeavers, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and owner of Salem Counseling & Consulting. I consider myself a teacher as well as a therapist. I want to give you the tools you need in order to reduce your anxiety and depression. I believe that everyone faces obstacles; barriers that prevent us from reaching our goals and living our best life. Anxiety, trauma, depression, and internal struggles are unfortunately a part of the human condition. I have trained extensively in anxiety and insomnia. I work with those who hope to find some form of peace from anxiety, insomnia, OCD (including ‘Pure O’), and phobias. In a world full of multi-tasking and trying to maneuver life, anxiety and insomnia can be overwhelming. I strive to provide an open, nonjudgmental, and warm environment for clients to grow. I’m interactive. Listening is a huge part of my job, but I’m also going to give you a lot of feedback during session. I want you to walk away with new information and a new perspective.

Briana Welch, MA, LCMHCA, NCC

I work with clients of all ages who are looking to increase personal insight, promote healthy behaviors, relieve emotional pain, gain valuable coping skills and improve their quality of life . I specialize in working with individuals who’ve experienced trauma and life crises, have anxiety disorders and mood disorders. In addition to traditional face-to-face interaction, I offer online therapy services via a HIPAA compliant video connection.

My philosophy is that authenticity is a key ingredient to the life we crave. I believe that we all have the answers to our issues and questions within ourselves but sometimes it’s difficult to find those answers on your own. I aim to partner with clients to help them unveil their truths and learn to become their authentic self. My approach to therapy is very person-centered and collaborative, gentle yet direct, warm and client-focused. This means that you set the pace, depending on your comfort and readiness. It’s so important to me that my clients not only experience growth, but that they do so while also feeling safe.

Johnette Walser

I’m Johnette Walser, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher. My belief is that therapy is a tool to learn more about yourself and how to meet your challenges head on and engage with your experiences more fully. I operate from a trauma informed, anti-oppression, social justice, and resilience perspective – meaning that I recognize that there are systems and environments under which we all live that create oppression, stress and trauma AND I believe that you already have the skills and power within you to navigate through hardships. My goal is to help you to bring those skills forth and provide both a safe and brave space for you to process your choices, feelings, and needs with someone who will validate you, accept you, and empathize with you. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and I will work with you to learn how to trust your own inner guidance. My style is transparent and supportive. I infuse humor and compassion into my work with children and adults. My techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Somatics (use of mind-body connection), but ultimately, I will take the lead from you. I specialize in working with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) women and children ages 5-30 and BIPOC families. I have experience working with those experiencing: depression, anxiety, ADHD, school related behaviors, and with those experiencing stress related to living under oppressive systems, life transitions, or academics. I also have experience working with college students, educators, organizers and activists and frontline workers.
